How many children take drugs in India?
The Centre said alcohol is the most commonly used psychoactive substance followed by Cannabis and Opioids. A staggering 1.58 crore children aged between 10 and 17 years are addicted to substances in the country, the government told the Supreme Court on 14 December,2022.
