TEACHERS’ DAY PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

A Photography Competition themed “My Teacher”

Prize: Cash prizes, along with certificates will be awarded for overall excellence.

I – Rs. 10,000/-
II – Rs. 6,000/-
III – Rs. 4,000/-

Rules and Regulations:

i. There is no entry fee to participate in the contest which is open to residents of Manipur only.

ii. Any individual who desires to participate will be required to provide his/her name, date of birth, correspondence address, email address and mobile number.

iii. Bank details will be required to be submitted by the winners after announcement of the result of the competition. Non-furnishing of the above information/documents at appropriate stage will render the selection null and void.

iv. Photos should be originally shot by the applicant and if these are found to be infringing copyright, these will be rejected.

v. A description must be given for the photograph.

vi. The photos should not be on display on Social Media Sites or on any publication.

vii. The submission will be through MyGov Manipur Portal.

vii. The MyGov profile of the participant should be accurate and updated as well as the information on the profile for further communication. This includes the participant’s name, photo, e-mail ID, mobile number and Aadhar number. Entries of participant/applicant who fail to furnish complete profile may be rejected.

viii. In case of any controversy on a matter not mentioned in the above regulations, MyGov Manipur will decide on the appropriate action. MyGov Manipur’s word shall be final and binding.

Technical parameters to keep in mind:
• Participants may submit a colour and/or black and white photographs taken up to two years before the start of the competition (19th August, 2022).
• Image should be submitted in jpg or jpeg file format
• The photograph must be of highest resolution possible.
• It can be in Landscape/Portrait mode.
• Photographs that have been digitally altered beyond standard optimization (removal of dust, cropping, reasonable adjustments to exposure, color and contrast, etc.) will be disqualified.
• Adult content of any kind will not be entertained and would lead to direct disqualification.
• Artwork and illustrations will not be accepted.
• The winner will be required to give their consent towards use of their images without further compensation.

Judging Parameters
Images will be judged solely on originality, concept, technical excellence, composition, overall impact and artistic merit.

In case of any issues the Judges’ decision is final.

MyGov Manipur reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the Contest and/ or the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria. However, any changes to the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria, or Cancellation of the Contest, will be updated/ posted on the MyGov platform.
