One has to also ensure that the electronic device used for account sign in is free from virus or a Trojan, as these programs have the potential to capture personal information. In that case, first update your antivirus program with the latest definitions, and then run a full scan.

It is a good habit to change your account credentials: PIN/PASSWORD on a frequent note. However please DO NOT store or write down that information. Instead memorise it.

If you are still hacked and you come across any fraudulent transaction regarding your account and you see that the transaction is not done by you, immediately report it to your bank to minimise the damage. The sooner you inform the more better it will be for you.

Beware of phishing sites.Fraudulent emails contain links of look-alike websites to capture your credentials. Bank will never send such communications and ask about your personal or confidential data. Please remember to always visit Banks site instead of clicking on the links provided in emails/third party websites. Also do not respond to popup window asking for your confidential or financial information.
