Why is bamboo a sustainable medium for art?
Bamboo is a highly sustainable natural renewable resource. Bamboo forests absorb twice as much carbon dioxide than trees and also generate a vast amount of oxygen upto 30% more than most plants and trees. Natural Bamboo can be composted as it is biodegradable.

बांस कितने दिन में तैयार हो जाता है?
बांस की पहली उपज 3-4 साल में ही तैयार हो जाती है। इसकी कटाई के बाद करीब 40 साल तक फसल प्रबंधन के जरिए ही फायदा मिलता रहेगा। इसकी पत्तियां पशुओं को पोषण प्रदान करेंगी।

आप बांस का रखरखाव कैसे करते हैं?
अपने बांसों को अच्छी तरह से गीला और खरपतवार मुक्त रखें । बांस की 80% जड़ें मिट्टी के पहले 200 मिमी में होती हैं और पौधे से कुछ मीटर तक फैली होती हैं। इसलिए यदि आप उन्हें सींचना चाहते हैं तो आपको अपने बांस के चारों ओर कुछ मीटर तक मिट्टी को गीला करना चाहिए। एक बना हुआ झुरमुट एक बहुत ही सुंदर पौधा है।
