The Department of Municipal Administration, Housing and Urban Development, Government of Manipur has decide to adopt Solid Waste Management on Regional/Cluster basis The whole state has been divided into 5 (five) clusters i.e. Clusters- A, B, C, D & E covering 10, 7, 3, 6 and 1 Urban Local Bodies respectively. Cluster-A and Cluster-B projects are partially implemented.

We, at MAHUD, are continuously trying to improve our Solid Waste Management Plan with an aim of achieving greater cleanliness in the state. Hence, suggestions and valuable inputs are invited from every section of the society to continuously improve our Solid Waste Management Plan.

For improving the solid waste management process, a integrated mobile application can be built. For example, some of the applications could be:
1. Online Grievance Management & Redressal System
2. Online Vehicle Maintenance System
3. Online Attendance Management System
