There are so many fond childhood memories to choose from, but my favourite would be when I would pretend to be a cook. In primary school, my friends and I loved making finger-licking food at our “cooking station” and we'd offer it to any teachers who happened to be around.

मुझे अपने बाल्यकाल की बहुत-सी बातें याद हैं । इनमें से कुछ यादें प्रिय तो कुछ अप्रिय हैं । मेरे बचपन का अधिकतर समय गाँव में बीता है । गाँव की पाठशाला में बस एक ही शिक्षक थे । वे पाठ याद न होने पर बच्चों को कई तरह से दंड देते थे ।

मुझे भी उन्होंने एक दिन कक्षा में आधे घंटे तक एक पाँव पर खड़ा रहने का दंड दिया था । इस समय मुझे रोना आ रहा था जबकि मेरे कई साथी मुझे देखकर बार-बार हँस रहे थे । मैं बचपन में कई तरह की शरारतें किया करता था ।

My happiest memory is a fleeting moment, one I initially took for granted, as we all do. A moment filled with love, happiness and a sense of belonging. Imagine, if you will, walking into the living room, dressed in your warmest jumper and the softest leggings.

The happiest childhood memories are swimming in the pool on holiday, building sandcastles, and long hot summer holidays. Our first pet and performing in school plays also make the list from a survey by holiday company On the Beach.
