A brief history of the construction of the Indian National Army (INA) Headquarters Complex at Moirang, Manipur. It was at this site where the INA hoisted the Indian Tricolor Flag for the first time on Indian soil after India’s independence. The old house which was used by INA as its office during World War-II still exist inside the complex. The initiative to develop the historical site into a world-class tourist destination was undertaken by the government of Manipur.
