As part of the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative and on the recommendation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to set up Oil Palm Missions in the North-Eastern region, the Chief Minister of Manipur, N Biren Singh, launched the Oil Palm Project in the State on 12th November 2020, via video conferencing.

Van Dhan Yojana is an initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and the TRIFED (Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India) as the nodal agency at National level. Through this scheme, locations, MFPs and tribal gatherers are identified and transformed into entrepreneurs. Under the Van Dhan Yojana, a large number of tribal community owned Van Dhan Vikas Kendras (VDVKs) have been set up in predominantly forested tribal districts. Minor Forest Produce (MFP) is a major source of livelihood for the tribes living in forest areas.

Cybercrime has emerged as one of the biggest modern-day challenges. With the advancement in technology and increased accessibility of the internet, cybercrime and cyberbullying are simultaneously on the rise. Almost all internet users have faced cyberbullying at some point, knowingly or unknowingly. Statistics and data show that women and teenagers (both boys and girls) are the most vulnerable group and often falls victims of cyberbullying.
