जो घर बैठी माँ को माँ पुकारे वो इंसान है।
जो घर बैठी माँ से पहले देश की माटी को माँ पुकारे, वो मेरा हिंदूस्तान है।
जो इस माटी का कर्ज चुकाए बिना कोई लोभ,
वो इस माटी कि असल संतान मेरे देश का किसान है।

हम लोग आज विभिन्न प्रकार के व्यंजनों का स्वाद अनेक रेस्टोरेंट और होटलों में लेते है।
कभी आपने सोचा है कि हमें हर तरह के व्यंजनों का स्वाद उपलब्ध कराने वाला अन्नदाता किसान किस हालत में है। हम लोग जब भयंकर बरसात और सर्दी में घरों में रजाई में बैठ के चाय पकौड़ी का लुत्फ उठा रहे होते हैं किसान उसी समय खेतो में फसल में पानी लगा रहा होता है। हम लोग जब 45 डिग्री तापमान में एअर कंडीशनर में होते है तब किसान गेहूं की कटाई करता है। अगर हम किसानों के लिए कुछ नहीं कर सकते तो कृपया उन्हें सम्मान दे।

An Indian farmer should be respected by everyone. It is he who produces grains and vegetables for the citizens of the country. Throughout the year, the Indian farmer remains busy in tilling the fields, sowing seeds and reaping the crops. Indeed, He is a very busy and hard life. He gets up early in the morning.

A village makes no progress if its farmers are not modern. If the way of farming remains what it always was, nobody earns much money. The young people would not stay in the village because they want to earn more money to satisfy all their new needs.
