Waste segregation at the source is most important taskfinally the mixed garbage ends up in landfill sites which is unsuitable for use in waste to energy plants. Thus,sensor-equipped dustbins (for dry and wet waste) should be installed similar to sensor-equipped taps which give water upon sensing a hand. Similarly if a person throws away dry waste it will be sensed and then only it will open and same with wet waste. The dustbin will not open if one tries to throw dry waste in wetbin. Hope it help
