National AIDS and STD Control Programme (NACP)-V is a fully funded central sector scheme that aims to reduce annual new HIV infections and AIDS-related mortalities. Mobile ICTCs will play a key role in bridging the HIV counselling and testing needs in the hard-to-reach areas of the state. The mobile ICTCs can also be set up as temporary clinics and provide easy access to medical services ranging from regular health check-ups, and syndromic treatment for STI/reproductive tract infection and other minor ailments.
